MitID service provider: integeration and development
Does your company need an experienced MitID service provider who can secure your website?
In many ways, MitID is similar to NemID. We have developed NemID solutions for, amongst others, HOD, where we have made it possible for members to validate themselves on HOD’s website when using a NemID login.
Furthermore, we have developed a NemID integration for BUPL, which consisted of data integration through which we have made it possible for users to easily purchase their prescription drugs online.
NemID becomes MitID
The Danish Digitization Agency is now introducing MitID as a replacement for NemID.
MitID is the Danes’ new digital ID, and the purpose is a new, secure, solution that will replace NemID and, in the future, provide access to public services, online banking, and other digital self-service systems, where confidentiality is essential.
With the focus on digital security increasing, MitID has introduced that all service providers must go through a MitID-broker before it’s possible to make an integration with MitID. Therefore, as a company, you must be aware of contacting a certified MitID-broker in order to switch to MitID.
In 2022, MitID will gradually replace NemID, and MitID expects the last users to switch to MitID no later than July 2022.
Replacing NemID with MitID is not necessarily a major operation, it depends on what kind of integrations your company needs.
