A new custom app for Parasport Denmark
Parasport Denmark has since 1971 focused on making all sports accessible for people with disabilities. They have many years of experience organizing events for participants with physical and mental disabilities.
For example:
Every year, Parasport holds their Special Olympics Sports Festival (SOIF), which attracts more than 1,000 participants.
However, Parasport faced challenges in sharing relevant event information with coaches, participants, and spectators in a simple and accessible way for their target audience.
What was the solution?
Twentyfour developed a unique and custom event app for Parasport to help them solve the challenges of sharing information about their events. Some key focus points were that the app should be easy, simple to use, and intuitive for everyone, regardless of disability.
The new event app included, among other things:
- A simple and intuitive design ensuring a good user experience (UX).
- Easy navigation through large, clear call-to-action buttons and well-defined icons.
Accessibility on various devices (Android and iOS). - Integration with Google Maps and Parasport’s own website.
- Notification features.
What was the end result of the app?
The new app gave Parasport the ability to share event information faster and more efficiently than ever before. The simple app design and user-friendly navigation helped make the event even better for participants, coaches, and Parasport.
As Parasport’s Norwegian branch said themselves:
